Imphal's attempt at fine dining on Meitei foundations: the old ceremonial dishes of the Manipuri court, plated carefully and served in a restored house near Kangla. The ceremonial platter is the thing to order: eleven small dishes arranged in the order in which they would have been eaten at a palace feast.
