Andro Black Pottery: Building Without a Wheel
Andro village, Imphal East4 hoursUp to 8 guests4.7 · 45 reviews

About this experience
Andro's potters build entirely by hand (no wheel, no mould), coiling the local black clay and beating it into shape with a wooden paddle and a stone anvil. In this half-day workshop you will prepare clay, build a small pot, and watch a batch go into an open pit fire. Your piece is fired and can be collected or posted on.
