About this place
On NH-2 north of Imphal, this memorial marks the defence of the huge Allied supply depot at Kanglatongbi during the 1944 Japanese advance. A restored garden and information panels tell the story of the ordnance troops who held it. A natural stop on the drive to Senapati or Kohima.
How to reach
22 km north of Imphal on NH-2; any Senapati or Kohima-bound shared vehicle passes the gate.
