About this route
Seven days covering the state properly: Imphal's heritage, Loktak and the sangai, Andro's potters, the Tangkhul hills at Ukhrul and Shirui, Senapati and Mao on the northern highway, and the Khongjom and Second World War sites on the way back. The tour for a first visit where you only get one.
Day by day
Day 1: Arrive Imphal
Airport transfer, an afternoon at Kangla and the State Museum, and an evening briefing over dinner.

Day 2: Imphal in depth

Day 3: Loktak and the sangai
Pre-dawn run to Keibul Lamjao, the lake by canoe, Sendra at sunset and a night on the water's edge.

Day 4: Andro and the road east

Day 5: Shirui and Khangkhui
