About this place
One of the better-known Shiva temples in Manipur, sitting on the bank of the Imphal river. It is quiet most of the year and packed on Shivratri, when pilgrims come up from the valley.
How to reach
On the NH-2 corridor north of Imphal; ask locally at Kanglatongbi for the turning.

- Shivratri (Feb/Mar) is the one day it is crowded — and the one day it is most worth seeing.
