About this place
A landscaped public garden on the slopes at Kakching with terraced flower beds, a boating pond, children's play areas and pavilions looking out across the paddy plain. It is the busiest family picnic spot in southeastern Manipur, particularly on winter Sundays.

45 km southeast of Imphal via Thoubal; shared sumo to Kakching ₹80–120, then a 10-minute auto.
Local tips
- Weekdays are far quieter than Sundays.
- The upper pavilions have the best plains view, worth the climb.
- Kakching Garden is the natural lunch stop on a Sugnu or Chandel run.
